About Our Farm

Keilyn Incorporated is a hunter/jumper training and riding facility operated by Lynda Powell. For over 30 years we have served the Tampa area with expert instruction for riders and training for horses in our discipline. Lessons are available from beginners to advanced on our horses or your own as well as complete show horse boarding facilities for our clients. We participate in horse showing up and down the East Coast and also offer in-barn horse shows throughout the year. In addition we offer quality horses and ponies for sale, and if we don't have what you need, we can find it for you.

Riding Lessons

We offer riding lessons for all levels of experience. Our lessons are based on classic hunt seat education which stresses position and horsemanship.

Group Lessons

Groups are structured by level of ability. Flat and jumping lessons are offered.

Private Lessons

Privates are offered for all levels of ability. All new students start with private lessons.

What to Wear

Proper attire is expected for all riding lessons.

We require:

  • Long, snug fitting pants or jeans

  • Hard soled shoe or boot with at least 1/2 inch heel -- no sneakers, sandals or clogs

  • Weather appropriate tops -- no spaghetti straps, crop tops or baggy T-shirts allowed

  • Long hair must be secured with hair tie and/or hairnet

  • Helmets must be worn at all times while mounted​

We recommend:

  • Proper riding footwear (paddock boots or tall boots)

  • Chaps or half-chaps

  • Jodphurs or breeches

  • Gloves

We have helmets and boots for introductory ​and beginning private lessons. Continuing lesson students will be required to purchase their own.

Showing

Keilyn offers many opportunities for riders to showcase their abilities at home and away. We offer a circuit of shows at our farm for Keilyn riders, as well as participating in local and rated shows both in and out of Florida.

Boarding

We offer full quality care for your hunter, jumper or sale horse.

Shipping

Local as well as out of state shipping service is available.

Sales

We are happy to assist you in finding the perfect horse. We always have a selection of hunters and jumpers for sale at competitive prices starting at $3500.
